Michael Kachan, 1964 -
The artist was born in Armenia. He grew up in the countryside and finished the local high school art department. In 1985, he graduated with honors from the Art Academy in Kiev. He participated in an exhibition of the Ukranian Painter's League all over the USSR and abroad. In that period he painted a large number of big murals in various institutions. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1992. He works mostly in Acrylic on canvas, using the human figure as an expressive element. The color he uses compliments his form and elements.
